Technical Product Developer (Design Background) Bags & Backpacks

- We are looking for a Designer who wants to focus their skills on the technical side of product development — specifically creating clear and accurate product documentation.

A key part of our work is translating ideas and designs into clear, accurate and usable technical documentation (Tech Packs) that factories can actually follow.

Many Tech Packs in the industry are unclear or difficult to follow, and a key part of our work is improving this standard.

About the Job

- Although we do want to utilise your creative skills, the main focus of the role is the creation of our technical product documentation (Tech Packs).

This includes:

- Creating clear front / back / side drawings of bags & backpacks

- Translating designs and ideas into practical, production-ready documentation

- Working with the team throughout the development of projects to improve and document the details of the products

- You will also work closely with Designers from Europe, the USA and other regions supporting the documentation of their designs.

- Creative input is always welcome — and often encouraged — but this role is primarily focused on technical documentation.

- The more fluent you become in the technical side of the role, the more opportunity you will have to contribute creatively.

Important to Understand

This is:

- Mostly a technical and detail-focused role, rather than a creative role

- Less about concept design, more about documentation and execution

- A role that requires patience, focus and a high level of attention to detail. Small mistakes matter.

You do not need to be an expert in bags and backpacks.

If you have experience in footwear, apparel or other sewn products, you will be able to learn and apply your knowledge here.

However, you must be comfortable working with detail, structure and precision.

If you prefer purely creative work and do not enjoy technical tasks, this role will not be the right fit.

- Background in product design (bags, footwear, apparel or similar)

- Basic to intermediate skills in Illustrator, Affinity Designer or similar

- Good English communication (written and verbal)

- Strong attention to detail
