Technical Manager In Vietnam

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee supplier relationships, engineering documentation, quality systems and customer communication across Asia while balancing cost, quality and urgency.

• Interface with Rival Vietnam factory including Management and Staff

• Provide Team Member assessments

• Manage meetings with global teams.

• Oversee Material and Vendor qualifications

• On site vendor visits for raw material selection

• Assist with manufacturing selection

• Assist with Quality Corrective Actions and ensure they are addressed in a timely and effective manner

• Work with Rival Vietnam factory with product improvements

• Assist with or oversee quality data collection

• Assist strategic sourcing initiatives

• Assist in the developing and capturing of KPIs

• Receive, combine and analyze quality inspection data from inspectors at various locations

• Troubleshoot issues as they arise

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in engineering, quality, and/or testing

• Degree in Textile Technology or Engineering (mechanical, materials, manufacturing, industrial).

• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing; textile industry preferred

• Strong and clear communication in English, both verbal and written, is required

• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings – CAD experience required (Solidworks or Accumark preferred)

• Good interpersonal and communications skills with international team members

• Ability to work independently and hold others accountable

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Textile industry knowledge required

• Experience in Quality Systems
