Shipping / Import - Export Officer

• Execute and monitor the entire import-export process for shipments via sea freight, air freight, etc.

• Contact and cooperate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to secure bookings, arrange stuffing schedules, and manage cargo delivery/receipt.

• Check and verify related import-export documentation, including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin (C/O), Customs Declarations, etc.

• Track delivery progress, provide timely updates on order status to relevant departments, and resolve any issues arising during transportation.

• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) service providers or directly handle customs clearance procedures (if applicable).

• Maintain accurate and systematic archives of all import-export profiles and shipping documents.

• Submit periodic reports on work progress and logistics expenses to upper management.

• Education: College or University degree in Foreign Trade, International Economics, Logistics, Commerce, or related fields.

• Experience: At least 1 - 2 years of experience in an equivalent position (Prior experience in the furniture or manufacturing industry is a plus).

• Language Skills: Good English communication skills and proficiency in reading comprehension of commercial shipping documents. (Fluency in Chinese is a strong advantage).

• Technical & Soft Skills:

o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and related operating systems.

o Solid understanding of import-export procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.

o Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

o Careful, meticulous, highly responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
