Senior Policy and Program Manager (Digital) – LE5

The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to fulfil the position of LE5 Senior Policy and Program Manager (Digital). A merit list from this recruitment exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.

Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade under the Economic Section, the Senior Policy and Program Manager (Digital) primary function is to support the Embassy’s engagement on the developments of digital policy and digital transformation agenda in Viet Nam. The position also assists with the management of digital projects and programs under the Australia–Viet Nam Partnership for Economic Growth (Aus4Growth).

Applicants should have demonstrated ability knowledge and experience working on digital-related policy and business issues in Viet Nam, ideally with at least five years’ experience in relevant roles. High-level language skills (in both English and Vietnamese) for translation and interpreting are a requirement.

The successful applicant will be offered an initial one (1) year non-ongoing employment contract with an option to renew for another one (1) year or ongoing/permanent employment. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 50,981,623 to VND 57,380,266 depending on skills and experience. This is a full-time, office-based position.
