Responsible for all accounting, finance and tax functions for Century Distribution Systems, Vietnam region, to add value for the business. The responsibility includes all offices and business operation in Vietnam. Duties will include but are not limited to managing the cash flow, day-to-day operations, monitoring revenues, direct costs, receivables, payables, selling and general administrative expenses, researching and resolving issues that occur, financial reporting in accordance with VAS and US GAAP, coordinating with respective offices for intercompany-related matters such as monthly reconciliation, supporting statutory and group audit processes, ensuring accuracy of financial information, and ensuring compliant in tax and financial regulatory matters. Report to Vice President of Finance & Accounting (Asia) and Regional Director of Vietnam.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Accounting/Operations/Reporting:

• Lead and oversee daily finance and accounting operation of both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi accounting teams, providing guidance on accounting, financial and compliance matters

• Responsible for all intercompany related duties such as recharge, agreements, settlement, monthly reconciliation

• Handle group transfer pricing matters and requirements

• Monitor overall accounts receivables and collection progress

• Responsible for monthly financial statements and reports for Vietnam, in accordance with VAS for statutory reporting, and US GAAP for group reporting

• Lead the annual budget and forecast process, providing accurate financial projections, business insights and variance analysis

• Manage cash flow and working capital effectively to support the Group’s operational and strategic business objectives

• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures to enhance corporate governance

• Manage and drive the timely and accurate month-end financial closing process

• Responsible for annual statutory and group audits, tax audits, tax filings etc.

• Oversee all banking matters, including bank account opening, account maintenance and coordination

• Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance operational efficiency

• Lead and manage accounting and finance-related projects including system enhancements and automation

• Handle other ad hoc projects to support management

Yêu cầu công việc

• Degree or above with major in accounting or finance is required

• The equivalent of a CPA designation is required

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with minimum 3 years from sizable audit firm

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in sizable multinational corporation with US parent

• Experience working with tax authorities required

• Experience working in logistics industry and/or SAP user knowledge is preferred

• Proficiency in big data analytics is essential

• Familiar with VAS and tax regulations in Vietnam

• Hands-on style with solid Excel skills is essential

• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required
