Senior EHS Executive/ EHS Assistant Manager

Compliance & Regulations
Monitor and ensure adherence to local, national EHS laws and regulations.
Maintain all required permits, licenses, and documentation.
Provide regular updates on regulatory and legal requirements to relevant departments to ensure compliance.
Risk Assessment & Safety Programs
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments regularly for both UPL and ALS site.
Develop and implement safety programs, emergency response plans, and environmental initiatives.
Training & Awareness
Organize EHS training sessions for employees and contractors.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Incident Management
Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.
Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Audits & Inspections
Perform regular workplace inspections and audits.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Sustainability & Environmental Management
Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource usage.
Drive initiatives to reduce environmental footprint.
KPIs & Performance Metrics:
TRFR = 0 and Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) per year.
100% compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company EHS requirements.
100% completion of mandatory EHS training for employees and contractors as per the annual training plan.
Reduction in environmental impact, including measurable improvement in:
+ Waste generation (% reduction)
+ Energy consumption (% reduction)
+ Water usage / ETP load (% reduction), where applicable
Safety performance indicators consistently meeting targets, including:
+ Safety Observations (SO)
+ Near Miss (NM) reporting
+ First Aid cases
+ Timely closure of corrective and preventive actions
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemical, Agrochemical, or related field.
Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred).
Strong analytical, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead safety programs and influence organizational culture.
Minimum 2–3 years in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
