Management Responsibilities
- Carry out assignments delegated by the Design Director.
- Prepare and submit monthly project reports to the Project Director and/or Design Director to monitor and evaluate technical progress and design-related project performance.
- Prepare and maintain the design schedule, update it as required, and ensure the team’s workload and staffing resources align with the approved design program.
- Manage the performance of the design team.
- Coordinate with other company departments to assess the capabilities and performance of team members and recommend promotions, corrective actions, or disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Establish standards and document-control systems for design deliverables on active projects.
- Maintain, update, organize, and track active project information; establish, monitor, and control project folder structures.
- Regularly review and update knowledge of the latest applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Liaise with the Business Development team to review, prepare, or provide information required for contract formation, proposals, variations.
- Coordinate with the Business Development department to ensure successful receipt of payments for completed deliverables.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and authorities on design matters as required.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and desired design criteria.
- Provide direct guidance and professional design training to team members throughout the design process.
- Plan schedules and allocate team resources effectively; develop or contribute directly to design libraries and standards to improve design efficiency.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients and project consultants to coordinate architectural requirements, resolve issues, clarify technical matters, and document discussions through meeting notes or minutes.
- Conduct internal meetings and communicate key information and action items to team members and management.
Design Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural and planning design briefs, documents, reports, and technical specifications as required.
- Coordinate with the Project Director, Design Director, and Design Principal to understand the client’s initial business requirements and translate them into creative design concepts.
- Lead concept design for assigned projects, including the development of architectural details (windows and doors, etc.), preliminary design calculations, sketches, drawings, outline specifications, and other required design information.
- Undertake detailed design work as required, ensuring designs are fully reviewed and developed in accordance with the approved design process.
- Develop projects through all applicable design stages, including schematic design, design development, technical design, tender documentation, and construction documents.
- Implement design revisions and modifications as required.
- Review and coordinate architectural and engineering drawings to identify gaps or clashes; work with engineers to resolve issues and take responsibility for multidisciplinary coordination.
- Produce architectural drawings using Revit.
- Play a key role in Revit model management, including model troubleshooting, coordination setup, coordinate systems, and related tasks.
- Collect, compile, and maintain all relevant technical information, data, and drawings.
- Prepare submission documentation, including but not limited to drawings, design narratives, technical specifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Review cost plans and estimates prepared by other parties and provide clarifications to the Quantity Surveyor (QS) when required.
- Provide technical support and oversight, including the review, verification, and checking of drawings, forms, and design information during construction.
- Coordinate with the client’s Project Manager to respond to technical queries, Requests for Information (RFIs), and clarifications related to project requirements and specifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings and mock-ups issued by other parties, when required, in both hard-copy and digital formats, ensuring compliance with established specifications, quality standards, and recognized procedures.
- Meet with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain sufficient technical information on specified materials and equipment and prepare or update specifications accordingly.

o Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction field.
- At least 3 years of design management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, and other relevant architectural design tools.
- Working knowledge of additional software, such as presentation and animation tools, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of project delivery processes, coordination with local authorities, and applicable government regulations and codes.
- Broad knowledge of modern and advanced construction methods, technologies, and materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with people at all levels and lead meetings effectively.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex issues creatively and systematically.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to transfer knowledge and mentor others in design development and the preparation of drawings, specifications, and cost-related documentation.
- Ability to motivate team members through effective direction, coaching, and guidance.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate information and prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
- Strong design capability and the ability to read, interpret, and evaluate the designs of others.
- Decisive in resolving technical issues, with the foresight to anticipate potential problems.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting cost estimates, contractor shop drawings, and supplier technical drawings.
- Revit proficiency is required.
- Experience in preparing construction construction drawing packages.
- Experience working on large-scale, high-rise projects of approximately 30–40 stories and/or multi-building developments exceeding 5 hectares.
- Strong architectural design capability, including space planning, façade design, development of distinctive and typical architectural details, and clear communication of design intent.
- Strong 3D spatial understanding and the ability to coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, lighting, landscape, interior, signage, and other disciplines.
- Ability to prepare master plans for projects up to 5 hectares.
- Ability to undertake landscape design.
- Working knowledge of interior design.
- Ability to manage subconsultants and provide appropriate design direction.
- Knowledge of foundation systems, diaphragm walls, top-down construction, reinforced-concrete roof structures, steel trusses, and other lightweight roof and floor systems, with a basic understanding of MEP systems.
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical information required for design development.
- Ability to prepare specifications.
- Ability to prepare maintenance procedures.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices and legal/regulatory procedures before and after construction.
- Ability to inspect construction work and identify design issues or errors during construction.
- Ability to prepare architectural site supervision reports.
- Ability to coordinate and manage the RFI process during construction.
- Knowledge of shop drawings and mock-ups.

- Base salary and total compensation are negotiable and subject to annual salary review in accordance with company policy.
- Work schedule: 5 days per week, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM; Saturdays and Sundays off, plus statutory holidays and 12 days of annual leave. One additional day of annual leave is granted after every 5 years of service.
- Overtime compensation and meal allowances are provided in accordance with applicable law and company policy. The Company seeks to minimize overtime work in compliance with legal requirements.
