Job Title: Scientific Affairs Officer

Report to: General Director of Vietnam

Overview:

The Scientific Affairs Officer is in charge of handling customer inquiries, explaining medical and scientific information to customers, working with other Scientific Affairs Officers who are based in different locations on an as needed basis, and is involved in various science and regulatory issues that are vital to ARKRAY's business.

Job Responsibilities

• Handling customer inquiries and troubleshooting

• Providing medical and scientific information to customers

• Writing journal reviews and conducting product training for internal and external customers

• Participating in global internal Scientific Affairs meetings regularly

• Management of scientific events

• Handling regulatory issues for medical devices

• Handling complaints pertaining to scientific issues

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (degree in engineering, medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, biology, or medical equipment engineering is a must.)

• English level of Fluent or above is a MUST for this position

• Minimum three years’ experience in the diagnostics business

• Able to operate MS Office and conduct product presentations

• Able to work in a team, take initiative, have a can-do attitude, attention to detail, and good communication skills, as well as understand and adapt to other cultures

• Customer-oriented, disciplined, patient, and responsible in performing their duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the marketing field (either in a leading or supporting role)

• Experience conducting market research to analyze customer and competitor trends and habits through customer visits and web research

• Experience creating and localizing marketing materials for various marketing platforms

• Experience monitoring and maintaining existing marketing channels and ensuring compliance with local regulations or requirements

• Willing to attend overseas product training

• Japanese language abilities will be seen as a plus
