Sales Operations Specialist (BI-Focused)

As a Guru in the position of Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be accountable for:

• Sales Target Operations: Working with Sales, Finance, and management to run the monthly target-setting process - gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and finalizing target distribution. Capturing feedback across cycles and identifying opportunities to improve process design and methodology.
• Operational Dashboards & Reporting: Working with large and complex data sets to measure and track sales performance across products, segments, and regions. Designing and maintaining dashboards, charts, and business analyses that support operational reviews at all levels. Bridging data needs between the Sales team and internal data and tech stakeholders.
• Planning & Forecasting: Collecting and synthesizing historical data, market signals, and business inputs to support annual budget planning and quarterly forecast reviews. Developing scenario analyses and data packages to inform leadership decision-making and annual strategy.
• Analytical Support: Providing data, reporting, and analytical support on requests from the manager or cross-functional teams - tailored to business needs and stakeholder requirements - and identifying recurring needs that warrant a dedicated reporting solution.

We're Looking For Someone Who

Must-Have

• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics, BI, or sales/revenue operations role 
• Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling 
• Experience building dashboards in Looker, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools
• Comfortable presenting data and defending analytical conclusions to business stakeholders, including Sales teams, and engaging constructively when conclusions are questioned 
• Proficient in English - able to read and write business documents, reports, and communications effectively 
• Detail-oriented and reliable with recurring, deadline-driven processes 

Nice-to-Have

• Proficient in SQL - able to independently query, clean, and transform data
• Familiarity with CRM data structures such as Salesforce or Zoho 
• Background in real estate, media, or marketplace businesses 
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools in a professional analytics workflow - prompt engineering, AI-assisted reporting, or automated summaries

• Takes ownership of deliverables end-to-end - accuracy, timeliness, and usability, not just the analysis itself 
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being defined 
• Proactively identifies data issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities before they escalate
