R&D Executive

1. Product Application & Prototype Development

• Prepare lab-scale samples and prototypes based on customer requirements, Sales/BD project briefs, supplier recommendations, and new product ideas.
• Support formulation trials for food and beverage applications using GroupG’s ingredients, additives, flavors, stabilizers, cultures, proteins, sweeteners, extracts, and other portfolio products.
• Conduct sensory evaluation, basic stability checks, application tests, and product adjustments under the guidance of the R&D Manager.
• Record formulation details, trial results, sample codes, observations, and technical recommendations in a systematic manner.
• Support pilot trials, customer trials, and troubleshooting when required.

2. Ingredient & Flavor Evaluation

• Evaluate new ingredients, flavors, additives, and application samples from suppliers.
• Prepare comparison tests, application trials, and basic technical assessment reports.
• Provide feedback on product performance, application suitability, sensory profile, cost impact, and customer-fit potential.
• Support the development of demonstration concepts and application samples for supplier promotion and customer presentation.

3. Sample Management

• Manage raw material samples from suppliers and application samples developed by the R&D team.
• Ensure all samples are properly labeled, stored, tracked, and updated in the sample library.
• Monitor sample shelf life, storage conditions, usage status, and disposal when required.
• Coordinate with Sales/BD and Supply Chain teams to arrange samples for customer evaluation and project development.

4. Technical Documentation & Regulatory Support

• Compile and maintain technical documents for ingredients and finished application samples, including Specification, COA, SDS/MSDS, Halal, Kosher, Non-GMO, Allergen, Origin, and related documents.
• Support the preparation of technical documents for customer submission, product self-declaration, import dossiers, or project approval when required.
• Manage periodic test reports for selected ingredients, flavors, and application products as assigned.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain missing, updated, or revised technical documents.
• Ensure all technical documents are properly organized and stored according to GroupG’s internal document management standards.

5. Customer & Sales/BD Technical Support

• Support Sales/Business Development teams by preparing samples, technical information, application notes, and basic product recommendations.
• Participate in customer meetings, sample evaluation sessions, or product trials when required.
• Follow up on technical feedback from customers and coordinate with the R&D Manager, suppliers, or internal teams for next actions.
• Help translate customer needs into clear R&D briefs and technical action plans.

6. Supplier Coordination

• Communicate with suppliers regarding samples, technical documents, application guidance, formulation support, and customer feedback.
• Support supplier-related projects by preparing samples, reports, and application feedback.
• Assist in supplier training, product launches, technical workshops, and innovation activities when required.

7. Internal Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Support internal technical training for Sales/BD and related teams on ingredient functionality, product application, and basic formulation knowledge.
• Stay updated on food and beverage trends, ingredient innovation, and new application opportunities.
• Contribute ideas for new concepts, application samples, and portfolio development.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in food R&D, application lab, technical service, product development, or the food ingredients industry. Experience in the Beverage/Dairy industry is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of food ingredient functionality, formulation, application testing, and sensory evaluation.
• Experience in sample preparation, lab trials, technical documentation, and supplier coordination is preferred.
• Good communication, teamwork, organization, and follow-up skills.
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Good English communication skills, especially in reading and preparing technical documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems is a plus.
