PURCHASING OFFICER

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Orders:
•        Coordinate daily with cushion factories in developing new cushions, pre-production sample, orders
•        Check and quote cushion price for boss or anyone’s request.
•        Manage cushion quality, cushion specification, cushion price and delivery date.
•        Do cushion order and cushion sample.
•        Do cover order for furniture set
•        Do textilene order
2. Factories/vendors:
•        Negotiate with factory on price, discount, delivery/payment terms.
•        Communicate about order and new sampling details and requirements to factories and all parties concerned.
•        Cooperate closely with factory to solve production problems/shipping matters and work with factories to present alternatives.
•        Work with factory to delivery on-time.
3. Others:
•      Follow up the payment between Gardenline and cushion factories or between cushion factories and furniture factories.
•      Delivery cushion order/cushion sample/furniture cover from factories to Qui Nhon for loading container
* Others task and duties from time to time from management not stated on above, can use ERP system.
Knowledge, Education, Training:
•        University Degree in English – Bachelor of English …
•        Knowledge of Production costing, Outdoor Furniture (Wood/Textile/Cushion)
•        Knowledge of Indoor and Outdoor Furniture including cushion (Wood/Textile/cushion)
•        Knowledge of shipping matters
Experience:
At least 03 years of experience in Merchandiser Position
Soft Skills/Behavioural Requirements:
•        Fluency in both verbal and written English
•        Good at Microsoft Office software
•        Strong in Negotiation Skill, Time-Management Skill
•        Independent and able to work under pressure
•        approachable & a team player
•        Attention to details & customer-focused
