Project Planner ( HVAC/ MEP)

Job Summary

As a Project Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of HVAC/MEP projects by developing, monitoring, and optimizing project schedules. You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and project teams to define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

• Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.

• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports and present schedule updates to internal stakeholders.

• Identify potential schedule risks and propose mitigation and recovery plans.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams to ensure activities are aligned with the project schedule.

• Support resource planning and assist in project budget monitoring.

• Participate in project planning meetings and provide scheduling expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure planning data is up to date.

Must-have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning, project controls, or project scheduling.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in HVAC, MEP, or construction projects.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies and project control practices.

• PMP or other project management certifications are an advantage.

• Good English communication skills.
