Project Officer

·        Coordinate and support the implementation of project activities in collaboration with sport clubs, schools, coaches, teachers, parents, community partners and other relevant stakeholders.

·        Build and maintain effective working relationships with project partners and local stakeholders to encourage participation, engagement and smooth implementation of project activities.

·        Support the organisation of trainings, workshops, sport-based activities, community events and other activities for children and adolescents.

·        Provide field support during project activities to ensure that activities are implemented safely, inclusively and in an age-appropriate manner.

·        Support the preparation of activity plans, field schedules, training materials, participant lists, attendance sheets, monitoring forms and other project documents.

·        Collect, compile and maintain project data; support data entry, data verification and filing of project records.

·        Prepare activity reports, meeting minutes, field notes and other documentation as required for internal and donor reporting.

·        Provide logistical and administrative support for trainings, workshops, field visits, meetings, community events and other project activities.

·        Support communication and coordination with partners, including scheduling meetings, following up on agreed action points and maintaining project records.

·        Ensure compliance with IRD VN’s Child Safeguarding Policy and promptly report any safeguarding concerns in accordance with established procedures.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Sports Management, Education, Public Health, Social Work, Community Development or other relevant fields. Candidates with a background in physical education or sport-related disciplines will be prioritised.

·        Experience working in non-profit organisations, social development projects, health-related programmes, education projects, youth programmes or community-based projects is an advantage.

·        Experience working with children, adolescents, schools, sport clubs, coaches, teachers or community groups is strongly preferred.

·        Experience engaging with government agencies, local authorities, schools or community stakeholders is an advantage.

·        Experience organising trainings, workshops, sport activities, community events or field-based project activities is an advantage.

·        Strong organisational and work prioritisation skills, with attention to detail.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·        Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a limited timeframe.

·        Positive attitude, proactive working style, self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·        Ability to communicate in English is preferred.

·        Willingness to travel within Hanoi and to project sites as required.
