Production Planning Analyst

ABOUT THE JOB

The Planning Analyst prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, especially in Planning. The individual prepares forecasts, analyzes trends related to Planning and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data and/or ensure efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Develop an overall production plan based on order specifications, established priorities, worker capacity, machinery/equipment, and spare parts and material availability.

• Coordinate internally between Scheduling, Service, RM, PRD, WH & Prepress teams.

• Ensure each operation meets delivery dates according to SLA/ETD, CRD (Flexibility), and PD (Reliability) order specifications.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance in terms of Output, UEE, and UPLH.

• Request materials from the warehouse for production according to the daily production schedule, while also monitoring and reporting on weekly and monthly production inventory.

• Work with the Printing/ Prepress department to maintain and accurately update delivery times, colors, printing method and UPS in the master data file.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant 2-3 years SML or related experience.

• Good analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.

• Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.

• Familiarity in process documentation and improvement.

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, queries and macros.

• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software.
