Product Development & Realisation Manager

ODM Group is looking for an experienced Product Development & Realisation Manager to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is not a traditional merchandising role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys developing products, solving manufacturing challenges and working alongside Sales to help clients bring ideas to market.

You'll work with international clients, our design team and manufacturing partners across China and Vietnam to develop commercially viable products, identify risks early and help determine the best manufacturing approach before production begins.

If you've spent your career simply following an established sourcing process, this role probably isn't for you.

What You'll Do

- Partner with Sales during the early stages of client projects to develop practical product solutions.

- Evaluate materials, construction and manufacturing methods.

- Identify technical and commercial risks before production begins.

- Coordinate product development through sampling and client approval.

- Develop strong relationships with factories across China and Vietnam.

- Visit factories to evaluate capability, quality and production readiness.

- Negotiate pricing, lead times and manufacturing solutions.

- Work closely with Product Operations and Design to ensure projects move smoothly into production.

- Support strategic client projects requiring strong product development and sourcing expertise.

- Recommend improvements that reduce cost, improve quality and strengthen manufacturability.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Minimum 5 years' experience in Product Development, Sourcing, Merchandising or Manufacturing.

- Fluent English (spoken and written).

- Strong commercial awareness.

- Experience working directly with factories.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience within promotional products, packaging, retail POS, cosmetics, consumer products or related industries.

- Mandarin is an advantage and experience in navigating and sourcing from e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba, AliExpress, and Taobao is a plus.
