General Description:

The role is responsible for driving operational performance and executing continuous improvement initiatives across multiple warehouse sites. It partners closely with site Operations teams to standardize operating processes, improve productivity and labor efficiency, optimize operating costs, and ensure stable and scalable warehouse operations. The position supports day-to-day operational excellence by embedding sustainable operational changes that enhance service levels, safety, and customer satisfaction, in line with the Operations Excellence framework.

Responsibilities:

- Driven Continuous Improvement in Warehouse Operations:

• Lead CI initiatives originating from specific warehouse operational challenges such as low

productivity, capacity constraints, and high labor cost.

• Translate Operations Excellence strategy into site-specific, execution-ready improvement

roadmaps (layout, manpower model, process flow).

• Hands-on leadership of Lean/CI projects within warehouse operations, including:

✔ Labor productivity improvement.

✔ Warehouse layout, slotting, picking and material flow optimization.

✔ Space utilization and capacity release.

• Participate or conduct end-to-end Value Stream Mapping (Inbound → Storage → Picking →

Outbound) to eliminate non-value-added activities.

• Lead Gemba Walks, Kaizen events, and pilot improvements at site level prior to wider rollout.

- Standardization & Operational Scalability:

• Develop and deploy standard work, manpower models, and productivity standards across

sites.

• Ensure improvements are feasible, scalable, and repeatable for new sites, volume growth, or

new customers.

• Work closely with CI representatives at sites to embed improvements into daily operations,

avoiding additional operational burden.

- Practical Change Management:

• Assess site operational maturity (X-Site) and prioritize initiatives with direct impact on P&L

and service level performance.

• Establish CI governance and improvement pipeline aligned with warehouse KPIs.

• Quantify, validate, and track benefits, including:

✔ Labor hour reduction.

✔ Productivity improvement.

✔ Space and capacity release.

✔ Conduct regular performance reviews with site leaders and proactively escalate risks.

- Project Management:

• Lead and manage operational improvement projects across warehouse sites from initiation

to implementation.

• Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, risks, and resources to ensure successful project delivery

and sustainable results.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of warehouse operations: inbound, storage, picking, packing, and

outbound.

- Practical application of Lean tools in warehouse environments (Kaizen, VSM, Standard Work, 5S,

RCA).

- Strong data analysis skills using operational KPIs and productivity metrics.

- Ability to work effectively with operators, supervisors, and operations managers.

- A pragmatic improvement mindset focused on simple, scalable, and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse or 3PL operations, with direct involvement in continuous improvement or operational optimization.

- Prior background as Operations is a must and CI within Operations is a strong advantage.

- Proven track record of delivering measurable productivity gains, cost reduction, and capacity improvement in warehouse environments.

- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt preferred (practical application valued over certification).

- Willingness to work in site-based environments and travel regularly between warehouse locations.

- Experience in managing cross-functional operational improvement or transformation projects within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments.
