Job Description
Operate and demonstrate a thorough understanding of laboratory testing equipment and machinery used in the Hardline Laboratory.
Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and routine follow-up activities to ensure all equipment remains in good working condition.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues when possible, and coordinate with external suppliers or service providers for technical support and corrective actions when required.
Communicate with equipment suppliers regarding technical matters, maintenance services, spare parts, and the procurement of new laboratory equipment.
Manage and monitor the calibration schedule of laboratory equipment, coordinate calibration activities, and evaluate calibration results to ensure compliance with quality and accreditation requirements.
Support laboratory operations by ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate with suppliers in English via email.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
