Job Summary:

The Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process, from purchasing and import operations to logistics coordination and commercial administration. This role plays a key part in supporting GiGO Vietnam’s store expansion by ensuring stable product supply, smooth import-export operations, and accurate contract and payment management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Import, Logistics & Trade Operations (50%)

• Manage end-to-end import processes for arcade machines, equipment, spare parts, and merchandise.

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners for international shipments.

• Prepare and monitor import/export documents, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.

• Track shipment schedules and proactively resolve logistics issues to ensure on-time delivery.

• Support new store openings by coordinating equipment and merchandise delivery plans.

• Monitor logistics costs and recommend improvements to optimize transportation efficiency.

2. Merchandising & Purchasing (30%)

• Coordinate purchasing activities for merchandise and operational supplies.

• Communicate with overseas suppliers regarding quotations, ordering, production schedules, and delivery timelines.

• Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

• Maintain product and supplier information for effective inventory planning.

3. Commercial Administration & Payment Control (20%)

• Manage vendor contracts and commercial documents.

• Coordinate with Finance and Accounting teams regarding payment schedules and reconciliation.

• Prepare payment requests and ensure all supporting documents are properly maintained.

• Support reporting related to purchasing, logistics, and supplier performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business,

Business Administration, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, import-export, supply chain, purchasing, or

merchandising.

• Hands-on experience in customs clearance, international shipping, and import procedures.

• Good English communication skills (spoken and written) for daily communication with

overseas suppliers and logistics partners.

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
