Media and Designer

Job Purpose
The Media & Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual and multimedia content that brings the school’s brand, values, and daily life to life. This role plays a key part in ensuring all marketing materials reflect a premium, aspirational, and consistent brand image, supporting student recruitment and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design:
Design marketing materials across both digital and print: Social media posts, Event materials (backdrops, standees, invitations), Brochures, prospectus, presentations
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and premium positioning
Maintain consistency across all touchpoints
Photo & Video Production:
Capture high-quality photos and videos of: School events, Campus and facilities, Students’ activities and learning moments
Edit videos for social media, campaigns, and events
Create short-form content (Reels, Videos)
Content Creation Support:
Work closely with Marketing Manager to develop visual storytelling
Translate ideas into engaging visual content
Suggest creative formats and trends to improve engagement
Media & Creative Production:
Oversee Prepare and format content for publishing across platforms
Ensure visuals are optimised for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Support real-time content during events (live updates, quick edits)
Event Media Coverage:
Be present at key school events to:
Capture photo/video content
Deliver same-day or next-day content for social media
Ensure every event is well-documented and usable for future campaigns
Brand & Quality Control:
Maintain high visual standards across all outputs
Ensure all materials reflect a premium international school image
Continuously improving visual identity and storytelling
Team Management & Collaboration
Collaborate with different departments within Uppingham Hung Yen and Head Office to ensure high-quality visual and multimedia content in line with the brand guidelines and values.
Support Head of Admissions & Marketing in managing the school’s marketing plan and budget to track performance and financial effectiveness in terms of lead generation.
Support Brand & Partnership team at Head Office as needed within the scope of work described above.

Experience:
4–5 years in design, media, or content creation
Experience in education, lifestyle, or premium brands is a plus
Requirements:
Academic degree required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Professional skills:
Strong skills in:
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
Premiere Pro / CapCut / After Effects (or equivalent)
Good photography and videography skills
Strong visual storytelling ability
Understanding of social media trends and formats
