Legal Specialist (Intellectual Property & E-Commerce) | 7 Working Hours/Day

Intellectual Property (IP) Protection & Brand Enforcement: 

- Handle registration procedures, establish rights, and manage the company’s international intellectual property portfolio, including Copyrights, Trademarks, and Patents (primarily focusing on the U.S. market).

- Develop brand protection strategies across digital platforms; proactively monitor, identify, and report/take down IP infringements caused by competitors.

Content Review & System Risk Mitigation: Conduct in-depth reviews of all content, terminology, and legal agreements (Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, etc.) displayed on the company's e-commerce channels. Identify and rectify legal loopholes promptly to prevent international disputes, litigation, and account suspensions.

Contract Management & Operational Compliance: Directly draft, vet, and negotiate international commercial contracts and partnership agreements (NDAs, supplier agreements, logistics contracts, etc.).  Research, analyze, and apply U.S. commercial law and e-commerce regulations to day-to-day business operations.

Legal Framework & Process Building: Research, advise on, and design standardized legal processes, workflows, and templates for cross-functional teams.

Dispute Resolution & International Litigation:

- Actively participate in or liaise with local counsel/law firms to handle disputes, complaints, lawsuits, or Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO) issued by competitors or regulatory bodies in global markets. 

- Manage appeals against policy violations on e-commerce platforms to safeguard the company's legal rights and assets..

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, International Commercial Law, or related fields. (Overseas graduates or candidates from English-taught programs are highly preferred).  
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in corporate legal departments or law firms specializing in Intellectual Property or International Trade Law.  
• IP Management & Protection: Experience in trademark/patent registration, IP portfolio management, and handling infringement issues.
• Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Experience in corporate disputes, legal strategy, and litigation/arbitration processes (cross-border E-commerce dispute experience is a major plus).
• Big Plus: Previous experience in E-commerce (specifically Cross-border E-commerce, Amazon Selling), Import-Export, or the Technology sector.

Professional & Language Capabilities:

• Fluency in professional Legal English (especially strong in reading comprehension, legal research, and drafting international contracts).  
• Solid foundation and capability to deeply research and apply Common Law systems (primarily U.S. Commercial Law).  
• IP & Patent Analysis: Capability in deep trademark/patent searches and pre-launch infringement risk assessment.
• High attention to detail: Meticulous, cautious, and accurate in dealing with legal texts, terminology, and documentation.
