Legal Executive – Corporate & Construction

We are looking for an in-house Legal Executive to support legal and compliance matters for a 100% Japanese-owned company specializing in water and environmental infrastructure projects. The role also includes a partial HR scope in a dynamic, multi-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal & Compliance (Primary Scope)

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (construction, subcontractor, vendor, NDA, service agreements)

- Ensure legal compliance of company operations and project-related activities

- Advise management on Corporate, Commercial, and Labor Law

- Monitor and update changes in relevant laws and regulations

- Review internal policies to ensure compliance with Vietnamese law

- Manage legal documents, records, and handle arising legal issues

- Support compliance activities including internal audits and reporting

2. HR & Administration (Secondary Scope)

- Support recruitment activities in the Northern region

- Prepare and manage labor contracts and HR documents

- Update ISO-related documents annually

- Support internal events and company activities

***Time and location of work:

- Location:Thuy Loi 4 Building, 102 Nguyen Xi, Binh Thanh Ward, HCM City

- Working time: 8h00 - 17h00 (Monday -> Friday)

***Must-have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law

- At least 5 years of experience as an in-house legal or corporate legal role

- Strong knowledge of Corporate, Commercial, and Labor Law

Experience in contract drafting and legal advisory for business operations

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

***Nice-to-have (Preferred):

Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project-based companies

Familiarity with construction contracts (EPC, contractor, subcontractor)

Experience handling both Legal & HR functions

Good English communication
