Learning & Development Manager

The Learning & Development Manager – Sales Capability is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the capabilities, skills, and performance of the sales team across all channels. This role plays a key part in building a high-performing sales organization by driving capability development aligned with business objectives in the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Capability Strategy:
Develop and execute the sales capability development strategy aligned with commercial and business goals.
Identify capability gaps across sales functions distributor management, and field sales.
Build annual training roadmap for sales teams nationwide.
2. Learning & Development:
Create and execute learning strategies and programs
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
Maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction and ensure a positive working environment.
Plan and execute internal activities on special occasions to gather and warm-up all employees.
Track budgets and negotiate contracts.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Sales Capability, Talent Development, or Commercial Training within the FMCG industry.
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, Talent Development or similar.
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
Experience in project management and budgeting
Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
BSc/BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
Professional certification (e.g. CPLP) is a plus.
