Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Group Accountant to manage financial reporting and accounting operations across Vietnam and Cambodia.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and supervise a team of 4–5 accounting staff to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, timely compliance, and continuous improvement of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

● Oversee accounting and financial reporting activities for Vietnam and Cambodia.

● Lead, support, and provide guidance to the accounting team of 4-5 members across both countries.

● Work closely with the management team to provide financial information, analysis, and reporting support.

● Review month-end closing activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.

● Review monthly general ledger reconciliations for all key accounts.

● Manage the fixed asset register, including depreciation schedules and depreciation forecasts

● Prepare and review monthly cash flow forecasts and funding requirements.

● Review and approve supplier payment runs in line with company policies and internal controls.

● Prepare, review, and manage tax-related reports and compliance requirements.

● Ensure financial records comply with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations in Vietnam and Cambodia.

● Support and manage the migration from Prism system (ERP system) to FAST accounting system for Vietnam.

● Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and internal control.

● Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and relevant stakeholders at a senior level.

● Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.

● Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting and team supervision.

● Experience with Cambodian Tax/VAS is a strong plus

● Experience managing accounting functions across multiple entities or countries is preferred.

● Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

● Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

● High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and meet deadlines.

● Ability to work effectively with cross-country teams.

● Good English communication skills are preferred.
