Junior Product Specialist (Fresher/ Entry Level Accepted)

Your main responsibility will be to research, develop, and implement tour packages in Vietnam. The Product Team is responsible for:

• Configuring our products in the Tourplan system supports the Sales, Reservations, Quality, and Accounting Teams.

• Maintaining the company’s relationship with our suppliers in Vietnam.

• Identifying new products and negotiating fair and competitive contract rates.

• Coordinating the development of new and commercially viable products that match our customers’ requirements.

Description

• Ensure all supplier and product information is collected on time and is accurately stored, resulting in a current, comprehensive, and well-managed database.

• Support the configuration of our partner’s products in our Tourplan system and maintain product information on SharePoint such that:

o The Sales Team can quickly and accurately suggest, quote, and confirm travel itineraries for both agents and customers that visit our Travel Center,

o The Reservations Team can confirm bookings with agents and customers and reserve services with partners as efficiently as possible,

o The Quality Team can review accurate and current itineraries to brief guides and easily determine operational details about our partners’ products,

o The Accounting Team can review the standard pricing of our packages and proprietary tours.

• Continuously review the company’s products and make timely recommendations for any necessary changes or suggested improvements.

• Develop a deep knowledge of the products and suppliers our company offers to help coordinate the new product development process.

• Coordinate with other teams to inspect new destinations and develop training materials to increase product and destination knowledge.

• Coordinate with the Quality Team and tour guides to ensure new tours run smoothly.

• Assist with daily sales requests, questions, and inquiries from agents or other departments.

• BA degree in Tourism, or equivalent work/life experience/travel passion.

• 1 year of experience in the inbound tourism or hospitality industry.

• Fluent in English, both writing and speaking.

• Thorough understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Experience in effectively working at all levels within an organization, including delivering presentations and coordinating training sessions.

• Team-oriented attitude and good attention to detail.

• Have problem-solving skills and negotiation skills.

• Have organization skills & communication skills.

• Experience in working with different cultures.

• Prior experience with Tourplan software preferred.
