We are seeking a highly motivated Japanese Speaking Project Managers to oversee and deliver complex projects. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing project lifecycles from initiation to closure, and ensuring successful project outcomes while fostering strong client relationships.

 

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Foster strong relationships with Japanese clients and internal teams, understanding their needs and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
• Identify and resolve project impediments and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with company’s project management methodologies, quality standards, and corporate policies.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and guide project team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Fluency in both Japanese (native or business-level proficiency, including reading, writing, and speaking) and English (business-level proficiency).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a global or multinational corporate environment is a plus.
