Inventory Accountant

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Accountant to join our growing finance team.

Job Description

1. Inventory & Warehouse Accounting

• Record inventory transactions accurately in the accounting system

• Monitor stock movements including inbound, outbound, transfers, and stock adjustments

• Maintain accurate stock balances in coordination with warehouse and operation teams

• Ensure inventory records are updated in a timely manner

2. Warehouse Documentation Control

• Check and verify warehouse-related documents, including:

o Goods Receipt Notes

o Delivery Orders

o Transfer Documents

o Stock Adjustment Forms

• Ensure all documents are properly matched with accounting system records before posting

3. Inventory Reconciliation

• Support regular stock reconciliations between warehouse records and accounting data

• Participate in periodic stock counts and investigate discrepancies

• Assist in improving inventory accuracy and stock control processes

4. Data Entry & System Updates

• Input warehouse and inventory transactions into the accounting system (AMIS)

• Maintain organized and accurate inventory documentation

• Ensure accounting data is properly updated and filed

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure stock movements are recorded correctly and on time

• Prepare inventory and stock-related reports when required

• Support month-end closing activities with inventory information

• Assist the accounting team with ad hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields

• 1–2 years of experience in Inventory/Warehouse Accounting preferred

• Fresh graduates with strong learning ability are welcome to apply

• Good understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations

• Good Excel skills

• Experience with MISA, AMIS, or ERP systems is an advantage

• Basic English communication and reading skills are preferred

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

• Responsible, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team environment
