Intern for the Children and Youth

Assignment Purpose
The CYPI will support his/her direct supervisor and the team to manage and execute MSD’s program/project activities.
Working Information
Working location: Mainly in Hanoi and work trips in several provinces.
Reporting line: Direct report to and be supported/coached by the Program Management Officer and/or Program Director.
Supervision: Volunteers.
Main Responsibilities:
Assisting with MSD projects/programs throughout the project/program management cycle (designing, developing the plan, coordinating the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation).
Assist in organizing events, workshops, training sessions, and communication activities of the program.
Take notes and prepare minutes of meetings and events; support updating program content on MSD’s communication channels (website, social media, etc.).
Update, compile information, and assist in reporting the progress of program activities.
Main Assignments for 2026
The main assignments for 2026 will include but are not limited to:
SafeGate School Plus
Protecting children from online risks and harms by leveraging SafeGate School technologies.
Improving education, prevention, detection, and response to digital harms against children, especially Online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OCSEA).
Providing SafeGate School Plus technology solutions and educating students, teachers, and parents on internet safety through child-friendly and age-sensitive approaches.
AI For Good Vietnam 2026
An educational program and competition for students aged 6–18, encouraging young people to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve global challenges.
HappIno School
Supporting school facilities and equipment.
Providing scholarships for disadvantaged students.
Promoting educational innovation and digital transformation.
STEMKidVN2026
Delivering inclusive and practical STEM education for underserved students and teachers in rural and ethnic minority communities through STEM toolkits, training, innovation challenges, and localized learning content.
Water Ambassador
Providing access to clean water and promoting awareness and safe water-use behaviors linked to education and school health.
School and Community Resilience
Supporting schools and communities in developing resilience and adaptation plans to minimize disruptions to learning caused by natural disasters, reduce psychological impacts after crises, and strengthen recovery capacity.

Yêu cầu công việc
Graduated or final-year Bachelor's student in Social Science, Social Work, or related fields.
Ensure compliance with regulations on the protection of children's rights, without any violations or harm to children's rights and interests.
Experienced working with vulnerable communities, such as children, LGBTIQ+, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, migrant people, and others.
High command of communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Strong MS Office skills.
Ability to work independently and professionally, with good teamwork skills.
High commitment to work and able to commit to at least 6 months.
Expected time to start: Beginning of August 2026 or sooner if possible.
Internship duration: Minimum 6 months.
Working schedule: Minimum 4.5 full-time days per week.
