Interior Design Coordinator

Competencies:

1. *Creative Thinking and Aesthetic Evaluation*

• Develop innovative and practical design solutions that meet project objectives, functional requirements, and brand standards.

• Review and evaluate design proposals, materials, finishes, color schemes, and spatial arrangements to ensure high aesthetic quality and consistency with the intended design vision.

• Provide design recommendations and improvements based on current trends, market expectations, and project requirements.

2. *Time Management and Deadline Control*

• Plan, organize, and prioritize design activities to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

• Monitor project schedules and track progress against established milestones.

• Proactively identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and meet critical deadlines.

3. *Leadership and Design Coordination*

• Lead and coordinate design activities among architects, interior designers, engineers, specialist consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Facilitate coordination meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions to ensure alignment of project objectives and design requirements.

• Resolve design conflicts and coordination issues while maintaining project quality, budget, and schedule targets.

4. *Performance Under Pressure*

• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality outputs while working under tight deadlines and changing project requirements.

• Respond effectively to unforeseen challenges and make sound decisions to support project continuity and successful delivery.

5. *Market Awareness and Competitive Analysis*

• Quickly acquire knowledge of new design trends, technologies, materials, and industry best practices.

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for design enhancement and project differentiation.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve project competitiveness, customer appeal, and overall market positioning.

1. University degre

1. University degree in Interior design, architecture o related field from reputable university.

2. Min 5 years’ experience in interior design company or real estate developer in charge in interior design works, preparing mock and show units, managing interior works, fit out project for tenants.

3. Proficient in design software and applications i.e : Sketchup, AutoCAD/ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suites and Ms Office

4. Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and space planning.

5. Experience coordinating with design consultants, contractor and suppliers.

6. Knowledge of local building code and industry standards

7. Excellent in communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

8. Passions in details, site inspections and problem-solving skills.

9. Experience in hospitality, residential and commercial projects is an advantage
