Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Import Executive to join our dynamic logistics team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will manage inbound shipments (Air/FCL/LCL), coordinate with overseas agents and logistics department for delivery operations, and handle rate inquiries for free-hand Door-to-Door cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete import operational procedures for Air, FCL, and LCL shipments from pre-alert reception to D/O issuance and cargo delivery.

• Communicate daily with overseas offices/agents and carriers to track shipment schedules and update status to clients.

• Check rates, negotiate local costs, and prepare accurate Door-to-Door (D2D) quotations for free-hand/ nominated inbound inquiries.

• Coordinate with customs clearance teams and trucking vendors to ensure smooth and timely delivery.

• Issue Debit/Credit Notes, double-check agent invoices, and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Proactively handle operational issues, claim processes, and minimize Demurrage/Detention risks.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Import Operations within Freight

Forwarding / Logistics companies.

• Knowledge: Solid knowledge of import documentation (B/L, AWB, Arrival Notice,

D/O, Manifest), Incoterms, and customs procedures.

• Pricing Skills: Proven experience in rate checking and structuring Door-to-Door

quotes.

• Language: Fluent in Business English (strong focus on email communication and

reading technical shipping documents). Strong Mandarin communication skills are

preferred.

• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and good negotiation

skills under pressure.
