IE Engineer - Chinese Or English

1. Continuously improve production line performance and efficiency while driving down

manufacturing costs.

2. Design and implement plant layout plans to optimize space utilization and production flow.

3. Develop and plan production processes for new projects prior to mass production.

4. Oversee on-site 5S, visual management, logistics planning, and warehouse layout design to

ensure operational excellence.

5. Design, develop, and optimize assembly line fixtures to enhance productivity and ergonomics.

6. Assist in the implementation and management of company-wide improvement projects.

7. Participate in and promote Lean Production and continuous improvement training programs,

including TPM, 5S, CI, and related systems.

8. Act as a facilitator to guide and participate in Kaizen improvement activities and ensure effective

project maintenance.

9. Proactively identify opportunities for business improvement through analysis of production

processes, workshop layouts, equipment utilization, and operational workflows.

10. Oversee daily improvement initiatives within assigned areas, guiding teams to identify, analyze,

resolve, and track issues effectively.

11. Perform domestic or overseas business travel as required.

12. Carry out other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a

related field.

2. Experience: At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in

process or continuous improvement.

3. Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Lean and Industrial Engineering (IE)

principles, including Standard Work, 5 Whys, 7 Wastes, SMED, Line Balancing, Value Stream

Mapping (VSM), and the IE 7 Methods.

4. Innovation and Mindset: Open to innovation, willing to take on new challenges, and capable of

building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.

5. Team Leadership: Possess a strong teamwork spirit and the ability to lead teams in solving

project-related problems.

6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

7. Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office software; proficient in Office and SolidWorks

applications. Good command of spoken and written English/Chinese is preferred.

8. Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
