HSE Supervisor

The HSE Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the promotion of a safe and sustainable working environment. This role involves risk assessments, training, audits, and promoting a strong safety culture.
1. Strategy & Compliance
Develop and maintain HSE strategies, programs, and initiatives aligned with company and local regulations.
Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international HSE laws and standards.
Keep updated on evolving HSE legislation and industry best practices.
2. Risk & Incident Management
Identify workplace hazards, conduct regular risk assessments, and implement mitigation actions.
Lead investigations for UA/UC, near-misses, and incidents; perform root cause analysis (RCA) and enforce corrective actions.
Track workplace inspections and actively promote safe behaviors on-site.
3. Training & Development
Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors (including toolbox talks and safety campaigns).
Manage and maintain all HSE training records, qualifications, and certifications.
4. Audits & Reporting
Conduct internal and external HSE audits and routine site inspections.
Prepare and present HSE performance reports, incident metrics, and documentation to management.
5. Emergency Response
Develop, update, and test emergency response procedures.
Lead regular emergency drills to ensure team readiness for potential incidents.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 5 years in HSE management, preferably in a similar manufacturing domain
