Head Technician

Work Location: Textyle Asia PTE., LTD., in North Vietnam

Department: Technical

Job Description

• Rouving assigned factories. To check and follow ups orders as per production plan.

• To manage Textyle Asia local staffs under their supervision.

• Review workloads of local technician ensuring quality will reach in high level standards.

• Weeky review RECAP of orders.

• Working out placed orders in factory (working with planners for details).

• Overview if assigned orders reach target as plan. Feedback planners of actual status if facing problems and affect delivery.

• Overall monitoring of orders from factory received orders, sample making to shipments.

• Manage to deal production issues with TA local staffs together with factory in charge.

• Working with local staffs: production in lines workmanship improving and trouble shooting.

• Manage to solve technical issues (overconsumptions, quality issues and all related matters).

• Working with QA/QC teams regards quality issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in garment construction, understanding in pattern making, and technical development, garment construction techniques, and quality control standard specifically with woven outerwear.

• Expertise in garment fit analysis and adjustments. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a technical team.

• Familiarity with industrial sewing techniques and machinery.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple factories simultaneously.

• Able to work independently with the customers.

• Able to work with independently with the factory Top management and factory people.
