Role Purpose

As Head of IT, you will drive the strategic direction and implementation of ISB's technology roadmap — covering core systems (Website, CRM, CDP, LMS) and building the data warehouse & infrastructure foundation that enables scalable, data-driven learning experiences for students, mentors, and educators.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Strategy & Leadership

- Define and execute the company’s end-to-end technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.

- Translate vision into scalable and secure digital platforms (B2B & B2C).

- Lead the tech architecture for learning management, mentorship matching, community building, and data analytics.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize digital innovation and automation.

2. Platform Development & Integration

- Own development and integration of core systems: Website, CRM, CDP, LMS

- Ensure seamless data flow across platforms and payment/data pipelines

- Drive initiatives to enhance user experience through business intelligence

3. Data Warehouse & Infrastructure

- Build and own the Data Warehouse to unify data across systems

- Establish data governance, protection, and compliance frameworks

- Build infrastructure enabling personalization, analytics, and reporting

- Drive cybersecurity practices and ensure scalability

4. Team & Vendor Management

- Build and lead a cross-functional in-house tech team (engineering, UI/UX, QA).

- Manage tech partners, outsourced teams, and SaaS providers effectively.

- Establish best practices in agile development, workflows, coding standards, documentation protocols, and DevOps practices.

5. Support & IT Operations

- Oversee IT systems (hardware, networks, internal tools) for smooth business operation.

- Lead system maintenance, helpdesk operations, and disaster recovery planning.

Key Requirements

Experience

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technology leadership roles, ideally in education tech, platform businesses, or SaaS.

- Proven experience building scalable digital products and managing agile teams.

- Strong background in cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP), API integrations, data security.

Skills & Mindset

- Strategic thinker with hands-on tech execution capabilities.

- Deep understanding of product development cycles, agile methodology, and UX design.

- Excellent stakeholder management across business, marketing, and academic teams.

- Passionate about education, impact, and building meaningful technology.

- English fluency required.
