JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth and market expansion for Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Products, including circuit breakers, switchgear, motor control solutions, power distribution systems, and related digital electrical solutions.

This role combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen to identify customer needs, develop value-based solutions, manage customer relationships, and achieve sales targets across various industries such as Manufacturing, Buildings, Utilities, Data Centers, Infrastructure, and Energy.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets.

• Identify new business opportunities and build a strong project pipeline within target market segments.

• Promote and sell low voltage electrical products and solutions, including:

• Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)

• Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB)

• Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB)

• Contactors and Motor Starters

• Power Distribution and Switchgear Solutions

• Power Monitoring and Digital Energy Solutions

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, contractors, panel builders, distributors, and system integrators.

• Provide technical consultation and product recommendations based on customer requirements and application needs.

• Prepare technical proposals, tender documents, and commercial offers.

• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms while ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability.

• Collaborate closely with application engineers, product managers, and project teams to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.

• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and pipeline updates within CRM systems.

Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Electrical Engineering/Power Engineering/Automation Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering/Industrial Engineering Or other related technical disciplines.

• 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development, or related commercial roles.

• Experience in low voltage electrical products, electrical distribution systems, switchgear, or industrial automation solutions.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.

• Experience working with EPC contractors, consultants, electrical panel builders, distributors, or industrial end users is highly desirable.

• Good understanding of low voltage electrical systems, power distribution, motor control, and protection systems.

• Knowledge of international standards and regulations related to electrical distribution systems is an advantage.

• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

• Good command of English for business communication and technical discussions.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as required.

• Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a multinational environment.
