Tuyển dụng General Accountant (8-month contract) tại Long An

A. JOB PURPOSE:

Overall responsibility for costing, pricing, assets accounting, and financial management and disbursement, including training in these fields, according to the regulations of the Government of Vietnam (MOF, State Treasury, Tax Dept,..) and internal financial regulations of De Heus LLC.

B. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Supervise accounting accountabilities

Assist Chief Accountant in the development and supervise the implementation of accounting, internal controlling, and financial system and procedures

Handle general ledger, inventory lists, payable and receivable accounts

Record all transactions in the accounting software / or accounting books (accounts payable and receivable, banks, expenditure allocation, revenue...).

Perform regular reconciliation of general ledger accounts (both P&L and Balance Sheet)

Responsible for bank and cash management, prepare list of payments to suppliers and contact with customers to settle unpaid invoices.

Administering the cash account book;

Keeping periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.

Review and verify bank account reconciliations, disbursements, and reconciliations for replenishment requests.

Make Financial report

Make financial report for vendors

Auditting

Assist and liaise with auditors or tax officer on year end audits.

Structure and oversee the accounting procedures and internal controls.

Cross-check with other staff or department about salary, lecturer reward, contract, cost, pricing, procurement.

Team Management

To oversee managing team of Sales Accountants with assigned areas.

To be responsible of one superior to team such as performance management, frequent feedback/coaching...

C. RESULTS:

Manage and perform all payments (suppliers, employee expense reports) and ensure that it is done in compliance with local policy & company procedure

Ensure monthly closing of accounting records is done in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and local regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor/College Degree in Accounting/Finance

Having Chief Accountant Certificate or other academic certificates in financial and accounting is a plus

Experience

Over 6 years of working experience in accounting (an international company is a plus).

Competencies

Possess in-depth knowledge of Vietnamese, US, and UK tax structures and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Numerical analysis for accounting, accounting reports, and statistical analysis.

Knowledge in financial accounting systems.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Language(s)

Fluent in Vietnamese and English.

Other Requirements

Understand the importance of meeting corporate reporting deadlines and be prepared to work overtime when required.
