Fashion Design Team Leader

1. Produce and create design of apparel, including suits, casual wear, seasonal clothing, and intimate apparel. 
2. Work with the Director to identify relevant trends early including; focused key items for the season, volume lines, colour palettes and print direction. 
3. Develop seasonal products, textile prints, graphics, and design stories that support brand positioning and business goals. 
4. Identify target markets and demographics for designs. 
5. Give colours, fabrics, prints design direction for the fashion season. 
6. Partner with garment technicians and pattern makers to review fittings and refine garment construction. Ensure products meet fit, quality, comfort, and performance standards. 
7. Create preliminary sketches of designs. 
8. Develop products and Prints for seasonals 
9. Write specifications like colour schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements. 
10. Build, train and manage a team of Fashion Designers. 
11. Work with the brand/marketing team for photoshoot’s styling. 
12. Develop and maintain Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines to ensure consistent brand presentation across retail channels. 
13. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and produce Denim and Knitwear products, ensuring alignment with design intent, quality standards, and production requirements.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor's Degree fashion design, product design or equivalent.  
• Solid fashion design or product development experience in the apparel industry with at least 3 years experience. 
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and other graphic tools 
• Creativity, innovation and flair. 
• Graphical skills and knowledge is preferred 
• An eye for colour and a feel for fabrics and materials.
