Failure Analyst

- Perform failure analysis and root cause investigation for PCBA and electronic products throughout production and testing processes.
- Debug circuit-level failures using schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
- Analyze product failures, identify root causes, and provide corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing yield.
- Conduct board-level troubleshooting, component replacement, and rework activities using soldering irons and hot air rework stations.
- Support production teams in resolving technical issues related to testing, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce defect rates.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret failure data to generate reports and support decision-making.
- Utilize Linux environments to execute test programs, review logs, and support failure investigation activities.
- Develop or modify simple test scripts to improve troubleshooting efficiency when required.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), validation activities, and process optimization projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of failure analysis findings, corrective actions, and technical reports.

- 3-5 years FA experience in circuit failure debug, understanding circuit schematic, proficient in using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, Allegro App and other debugging tools; candidates with experience in NVIDIA product FA will be given priority consideration.
- Capability of welding skills (use soldering iron, hot air gun), be able to rework most parts on the PCBA (except the bigger BGA components).
- Familiar with Linux system usage, operations and command line, be able to understand test scripts.
- Familiar with the production process of NV board production line/factory.
- Data statistics and analysis skills, Excel, JMP or other tools.
- Proactive, responsible, and a team spirit in work, can-do attitude.
- Fluent English communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, can speak Chinese is preferred.
- Experience with PCB design, validation/mechanical design/software skill is a plus.
