BGG Global Sourcing Office is part of BGG (Bac Giang) Garment Group, a leading garment manufacturer in Vietnam. Our sourcing office works directly with international buyers and internal factories, supporting costing, product development, and order management for export garment programs.

About the Position

We are looking for both candidates who are strong in following up CMPT orders, or costing and developing FOB orders. Key responsibilities are as below:
For CMPT orders follow-up Merchandiser:

• Handle CMPT costing, including CM quote, thread, packing materials development and costing.
• Follow up PP samples, including embroidery, printing, and washing, from development to approvals
• Plan and balance fabrics and trims to ensure sufficient quantities for production and on-time delivery (material planning / material balancing)
• Manage orders from order confirmation through bulk production to shipment
• Communicate independently with buyers and coordinate closely with factories and internal teams
• Monitor production schedules, materials, and approvals to ensure timelines and quality requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records, order status updates, production output updates, and related documentation
• Resolve issues related to costing, quality, and delivery in a timely manner

For FOB costing and Developing Merchandiser:

• Prepare FOB costing, including fabric, trims, CM, washing, embroidery, printing, and packing costs, and update costing sheets for internal review and buyer negotiation.
• Coordinate sample development (proto, fit, PP, SMS), including requesting materials, tracking progress, collecting buyer feedback, and obtaining timely approvals.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and factories for fabrics, trims, accessories, and production services to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and factory counterparts to facilitate smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Manage and follow up on development schedules, Time & Action (T&A) calendars, and sample approvals to ensure timely delivery against deadlines.
• Clarify tech pack details, BOM, measurements, specifications, and comments with buyers and translate requirements to internal teams and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records including costing sheets, sample status, development approvals, order updates, and internal tracking tools.
• Support pre-production activities by checking lab dips, trims, accessories, and production readiness as needed.
• Communicate with buyers and internal stakeholders on progress, issues, and risk mitigation, and participate in meetings as required.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have at least 3–5 years of experience in apparel merchandising.
• Graduated with a major in Garment Technology, Fashion Design, Business Administration, or related fields
• Are able to communicate and read/write in English (or Korean, Chinese) with buyers and related parties.
• Have good teamwork and communication skills
• Are detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Requirement for FOB candidates: Have good knowledge of garment construction, materials, sourcing, and FOB costing structure
• Requirement for CMPT candidates: Have good knowledge of garment production processes and CMPT costing
