Data Annotation / Sports Coding Specialist

This role is responsible for analysing sports match footage, accurately coding game data and ensuring high standards of data quality and timely delivery. The position combines hands-on data annotation responsibilities with close collaboration with the QA team and adherence to structured workflows, supporting the efficient delivery of high-quality sports analytics services to clients. ​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•​ Accurately annotate data based on detailed project guidelines.

•​ Use specialized software to annotate and code game data.

•​ Analyze match events and accurately input data according to project guidelines.

•​ Maintain consistency, precision, and speed across tasks

•​ Maintain accuracy within the required target range (90%–95%).

•​ Collaborate with QA team to review and improve data quality.

•​ Track and report issues related to annotation tools, workflows, and coding procedures to support process improvements

•​ Ensure information security and maintain strict confidentiality of company data, documents, and internal processes.

TRAINING

• Training materials and guidelines will be provided

• Estimated training period: 4- 8 weeks

QUALITY ASSURANCE

• A dedicated QA process is in place to ensure data quality.

• Coders will receive feedback to continuously improve performance.
