Chief Accountant

1. Accounting Operations s Management
Lead, manage, and supervise the accounting team, providing coaching and performance evaluations.
Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to ensure transaction transparency and asset protection.
Ensure all accounting records (AP/AR, general ledger, fixed assets) are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with VAS and company policy.
Oversee inventory management, including monthly physical inventory counts across all outlets, raw material valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.
2.  Financial Reporting s Analysis
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, PCL, Cash Flow) on time.
Analyze management information to optimize cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
Provide detailed cost control reports (food cost, labor cost) for restaurant outlets, analyzing variances between actual and budget.
Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making by the Board.
3.  Tax Compliance s Statutory Obligations
Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese tax laws (VAT, CIT, PIT, Foreign Contractor Tax).
Prepare and file all tax returns and reports in a timely manner.
Act as the primary liaison with tax authorities, auditing firms, and government agencies, managing all audits and inspections.
Ensure proper invoice management and compliance with electronic invoicing regulations.
Ensuring strict adherence to the laws governing accounting and finance within the accounting units.
Organizing the functioning of the accounting apparatus in alignment with the stipulations of the Law on Accounting.
Preparation of financial statements, following prescribed accounting regimes and standards.
Responsible for endorsing bank payment documents and overseeing the signing of salary payments.
Coordination involves affixing the signature on year-end financial reports and reports from external auditors.
Working closely with tax authorities and auditors and facilitates a seamless exchange of information includes providing necessary documents and offering comprehensive explanations for any inquiries posed by tax authorities or auditors during the auditing process.
4.  Budgeting s Planning
Assist the CEO/BOD in planning the annual budget and implementing it across outlets.
Monitor expenditures against approved budgets and report on significant deviations.
5.  System Implementation
Experienced in working with FAO (Fast Accounting Software) accounting software and experienced in working with Fabi sales software and iPOS (iPOS warehouse management system).
Experienced in the FMCG and F&B industries (min 3 years)
Having knowledge of the laws applicable to FDI businesses operating in the F&B sector in Vietnam.
