Chief Accountant

Job summary:
Manage all accounting and finance activities of the Ha Noi Branch, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of daily accounting and finance activities at the branch;
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with VAS and IFRS, as well as tax and management reports;
• Liaise with auditors and external parties (banks, tax authorities, etc.);
• Handle tax inspections and VAT refund procedures with tax authorities;
• Ensure strict compliance with policies and procedures set by Danang RHQ for internal control purposes;
• Manage recruitment, task allocation, and supervision of the team;
• Coordinate with Danang RHQ on consolidated reports as required by Headquarters in Korea;
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;
• Chief Accountant certificate is required;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an FDI company or large corporation;
• Strong knowledge of IFRS;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
• Experience with SAP is preferred;
• Experience in tax inspections and VAT procedures is an advantage;
• Good command of English (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage deadlines and workload effectively
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
