Job Description & Requirements

The candidate will be based on-site at the project in Vietnam, and is expected to be detail-oriented with extensive previous experience working as a BIM coordinator and/or manager. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to relate to and connect with the team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

Job Scope:

• Liaise with the Authority and the Contractor to define the BIM project schedule, standard and process.

• Managing BIM standards, resources, and application configuration

• Lead BIM teams (both on-site and off-site). Management the BIM teams to fulfil the project deliverable.

• Develop, implement, maintain and update the project BEP, including BIM objectives, workflow, MIDP, etc

• Establish the CDE folder structure, maintain and manage data on the CDE platform, and facilitate coordination among all project stakeholders via the CDE platform.

• Attend site coordination meeting.

• Establish and lead the BIM Project Execution Plan

• Lead the project BIM development

• Integration of BIM into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction (VDC) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)

• Audit Project Team’s BIM Project Execution

• Generate clash reports for all disciplines(architecture, structure, MEP and process) and lead BIM coordination meetings with clients and consultants

• Multidisciplinary Coordination, including Phase Planning (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D) and Asset Management (6D)

• Provide BIM/CDE Training for project Owner/Maincon or for BIM team.

• Helpdesk for BIM issues

• Diploma/Degree in

• Diploma/Degree in civil Engineering, mechanical/electronics engineering, Specialist Diploma in BIM would be an advantage

• Minimum 8 years of relevant BIM project, preferably in construction/engineering sector

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, ACC(Autodesk Forma), Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Naviswork and other similar BIM software

• Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge in BIM management as well as construction management will be an advantage for this post.

• Good knowledge in BIM visualisation and simulation applications.

• Strong organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills;

• Self-driven, resourceful and a team player

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

• Able to communicate with our Chinese counterparts, or have experience in handling thermal power plant projects will be a bonus
