Associate Legal Manager, Zalo

Responsible for implementing legal advisory tasks within the company to ensure adherence to legal regulations related to the activities of products under the Zalo Group.
• Build, implement and manage legal policies, procedures, and documents;
• Research and analyze legal issues; advise management on the legal implications of decisions (mainly in administration, IT, telecommunications, e-commerce, fintech, ...);
• Give legal advice and guidance to management on legal issues;
• Monitor changes in law and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
• Oversee regulatory and compliance matters;
• Participate in the proceedings to protect the rights and interests of the Company;
• Review and lead the reporting of critical findings related to existing and potential legal risks, including recommendations to mitigate risks from an operational perspective;
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements and other legal documents.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law or related fields;
• Solid years of experience in legal, compliance, or risk management, especially in relevant industries; has experience in a managerial or leadership role;
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects;
• Have proficient skills in analytical thinking and making judgments;
• Careful, honest, business-oriented, active, engaging, highly independent & responsible;
• Proficiency in legal regulations related (preferred in e-commerce, finance, fintech, and IT,….);
• Preference for candidates with experience in startup/ IT environments.
