Assistant Buyer / Planner (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

• Planning & Demand Analysis: Evaluates planned order and exception reports. Analyzes requirements for supplies, raw materials, and equipment necessary for the operation of production and other internal customers.

• Purchasing & Negotiation: Evaluates planned order and exception reports. Analyzes requirements for supplies, raw materials, and equipment necessary for the operation of production and other internal customers.

• New Product Development (NPD): Collaborate directly with Engineering and Manufacturing teams during design/concept phases to evaluate, select, and qualify new suppliers and component suitability.

• Inventory & Order Management: Set minimum on-hand stock levels based on average monthly usage. Issue POs, monitor order status, expedite urgent shipments, and communicate delays proactively.

• Vendor & Account Reconciliation: Reconciles any invoice issues with Accounts Payable and vendors as required.

*Working Schedule:

Type: Full-time shift work (Fixed 3rd shift or Rotating shifts)

- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Fresh Graduates only

• Language Skills: Fluency in English (writing, reading, and speaking) is required. Ability to communicate in Japanese or Chinese is a strong advantage.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

o Knowledge/familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

o Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is desirable.

• Core Competencies:

o High attention to detail, conscientious, and strong decision-making abilities.

o Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental alignment and vendor management.

o Proactive, fast learner, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
