Accounting Manager (Manufacturing) - Dong Nai

Accounting Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and effective cost management within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Description

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring smooth financial processes and strong internal controls across all transactions.

* Lead monthly financial closing, including accruals, expense recognition, and preparation of reports for management and auditors.

* Analyse production performance, including yield and inventory valuation, and provide insights into cost efficiency and optimisation.

* Oversee AP/AR functions, monitor credit exposure, and control credit limits, payment terms, and ageing balances.

* Manage inventory and fixed assets, including reconciliation, stock counts, variance investigation, and reporting accuracy.

* Monitor manufacturing and overhead costs, analyse variances against budget, and drive cost control initiatives.

* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

* Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while collaborating cross-functionally to support business goals.

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, with strong exposure to manufacturing environments

* Proven leadership experience at Chief Accountant / Accounting Manager level

* Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial control

* Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems

* Good command of English (both written and spoken)

* Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
