About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to support our accounting team with day-to-day finance operations, reporting, and data analysis.

This role is ideal for a final-year university student who wants to gain practical experience in a professional Australian accounting environment and develop strong technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely data entry for invoices, transactions, supplier records, and other accounting information.

• Investigate and correct data and transaction errors in the accounting system.

• Assist with month-end close, including account reconciliations, transaction reviews, and preparation of supporting documents.

• Assist with data clean-up, month end analytics and board reports.

• Support the accounting team with other administrative and finance-related tasks as required.

About You

• Final-year student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field;

• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills;

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;

• Have excellent verbal and written communication English skills.

• Willingness to learn and take initiative;

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills or Google Sheet capabilities;

• Familiarity with Power Query, SQL is highly preferred.
