Accounting and Finance Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded, forward-thinking Finance Manager to lead our finance function and oversee back-office operations.

This role goes beyond traditional accounting—you will be responsible for consolidating cross-border financials across Vietnam, Hong Kong, and China, maintaining tight oversight on cash flow, driving tech-forward operational efficiency (including AI integration), and providing strategic forecasting to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Financial Accounting & Cross-Border Oversight

Local & International Accounting: Oversee daily accounting and financial reporting for Vietnam operations while managing financial records for the Hong Kong holding company.

Regional Consolidation: Compile and integrate accounting data from our China team into the overall group financial statements.

Tax & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese Statutory Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations; manage audits and international compliance requirements.

Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of 4 local accountants, fostering professional growth and high performance.

2. Financial Planning, Forecasting & Business Intelligence

Predictive Analysis: Build robust financial models, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Proactive Risk Management: Actively spot financial risks, margin slippages, or supply chain bottlenecks before they impact the business.

Management Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable financial insights and KPIs to key executive stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making.

3. Systems, AI & Back-Office Integration

Tech Optimization: Leverage NetSuite (or similar enterprise ERPs) to streamline financial workflows, inventory valuation, and multi-entity accounting.

AI & Automation: Champion the adoption of modern software and AI tools to automate manual tasks, enhance analytical speed, and improve reporting accuracy.

Back-Office Management: Progressively take ownership of back-office operations, including HR and administrative oversight, streamlining cross-departmental workflows.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

Must possess a valid Chief Accountant Certificate (Chứng chỉ Kế toán trưởng).

ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualifications are a strong advantage.

Experience

5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or lead capacity.

Proven track record managing overseas or multi-entity accounting (Hong Kong, China, or international trading structures strongly preferred).

Experience in trading, manufacturing, or supply chain/furniture sector is a major plus.

Hands-on experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo).

Skills & Mindset

Business Acumen: Ability to rapidly grasp business models, trace supply chain mechanics, and align financial strategies with commercial needs.

Tech-Forward Mindset: Enthusiastic about technology, ERP systems, digital tools, and embracing AI to drive modern finance operations.

Language: Fluent/Excellent command of written and spoken English; able to present confidently to executive management.

Leadership: Strategic, proactive, and capable of expanding management scope into HR and back-office administration over time.
