3D Mold Designer

Design and develop molds/tooling for components such as soles, logos, trims, metal/plastic accessories, and headwear partsCollaborate with Product Development teams on new product introduction (NPI)Review product designs and provide technical input to ensure tooling feasibility (DFM – Design for Manufacturing)Analyze tooling issues and implement corrective and preventive actionsPlan and execute preventive maintenance for molds/toolingOptimize tooling design to improve cycle time, reduce defects, and increase productivityWork closely with suppliers/vendors for outsourced tooling developmentPrepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and tooling BOMSupport production teams in troubleshooting tooling-related issues on the shop floor

1-2 years of experience in tooling/mold engineeringExperience in footwear, headwear, or related industries (garment accessories, plastic, metal parts) is highly preferredProficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent)Strong understanding of materials (plastic, rubber, metal) and manufacturing processes (injection, compression, stamping, etc.)Good problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with multiple teamsBasic English
