About Phuc Sinh Corporation

Phuc Sinh Corporation is one of Vietnam's leading exporters of premium agricultural commodities — including pepper, coffee, cashew nuts, cassia, star anise, chili, and desiccated coconut — with over 20 years of experience supplying global markets across Europe, the USA, Asia, and beyond. With a strong commitment to quality (BRC, HACCP, ISO 9001:2015 certified) and sustainability (Rainforest Alliance), we are a fast-growing corporation with multiple subsidiaries and factories across Vietnam. Our team is the backbone of everything we do, and we invest in people who are motivated, sharp, and ready to grow with us.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance and Investment to lead financial planning, capital management, and investment activities for the corporation. In this role, you will drive budgeting and financial analysis, manage relationships with banks and investment funds, evaluate investment opportunities, and safeguard the company's financial health. This is a role for a strategic, detail-oriented finance leader who wants to shape the growth of a fast-expanding international trading corporation.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Evaluation & Deal Structuring

- Evaluate investment opportunities (new factories, equipment, subsidiaries, greenfield/brownfield projects, strategic partnerships) and lead feasibility studies, business cases, and investment memos.

- Structure investment and financing deals (equity, debt, hybrid instruments) to optimize terms, risk allocation, and returns for the corporation.

- Lead deal negotiations and coordinate due diligence with Legal, Accounting, and external advisors for new investment transactions.

Financial Modeling & Valuation

- Build and maintain robust financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, sensitivity/scenario analysis) to support investment, fundraising, and strategic decisions.

- Perform company and project valuations for new investments, capital raises, and potential M&A targets.

- Continuously refine forecasting models to reflect market conditions, commodity price trends, and business performance.

Fundraising & Banking Relationship Management

- Manage and expand relationships with banks, investment funds, and financial institutions, domestic and international.

- Lead fundraising initiatives — working capital facilities, term loans, trade finance, bonds, or equity — to support growth and liquidity needs.

- Negotiate credit facilities, loan terms, and covenants; ensure timely renewal and compliance with banking agreements.

Capital Structure & Liquidity Management

- Monitor and optimize the company's capital structure (debt/equity mix), funding sources, and cost of capital.

- Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning across the corporation and its subsidiaries.

- Recommend capital allocation strategies that balance growth investment, debt servicing, and shareholder returns.

M&A & Corporate Structuring

- Support M&A activities, including target screening, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration planning.

- Advise on corporate structuring matters (subsidiary formation, restructuring, intercompany arrangements) to support the corporation's expansion strategy.

- Coordinate with Legal and external advisors on transaction documentation and regulatory approvals.

Financial & Commodity Risk Management

- Manage financial and currency risk, including FX exposure on export/import transactions.

- Develop and implement commodity price hedging strategies (pepper, coffee, cashew, and other agricultural products) to protect margins.

- Monitor market, credit, and counterparty risk; recommend mitigation measures to the Board of Management.

Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis

- Analyze financial performance, cost structure, and profitability by business line/product (pepper, coffee, cashew, spices).

- Prepare periodic financial and investment reports, KPIs, and dashboards for the Board of Management and investors.

- Provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Compliance & Stakeholder Management

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, loan covenants, investor/lender reporting requirements, and internal policies.

- Manage relationships and communication with investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

- Coordinate with Legal, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency in financial and investment matters.

Team & Cross-functional Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Investment team.

- Work closely with Accounting, Sales, and Production to align financial planning with business operations.

- Prepare and present periodic financial and investment reports to the Board of Management and investors.
