Each candidate is expected to have strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one principal product group. Experience across multiple product groups is an advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, load requirements and other project documentation.

• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment and technical solutions.

• Select and size equipment based on operating conditions, process data and project requirements.

• Prepare technical proposals, datasheets, compliance statements, deviation lists, clarification documents and supporting information for quotations and tenders.

• Coordinate with the Sales team to clarify technical requirements, scope of supply and proposed solutions.

• Communicate with local and overseas manufacturers to obtain technical selections, quotations, drawings and documentation.

• Review and compare suppliers’ technical offers, including specifications, capacity, performance, materials, accessories, exclusions and compliance.

• Ensure that proposed equipment complies with customer specifications and applicable international standards, including IEC, ISO, ASME, API and other relevant standards.

• Participate in technical meetings and clarification discussions with customers and suppliers during pre-sales, tendering, order-execution and after-sales stages.

• Review vendor drawings, datasheets and technical documents after receiving purchase orders.

• Coordinate the submission, review and approval of drawings, datasheets, manuals, test reports, certificates and other technical documentation.

• Support factory inspections, site surveys, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and after-sales activities when required.

• Coordinate with Sales Support, suppliers and other internal departments to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project schedules.

• Monitor assigned technical activities and ensure that RFQ, tender and project deadlines are met.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation or a related discipline.

• At least 1–5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, project engineering, technical sales support or industrial equipment.

• Practical knowledge or experience in at least one of the following product groups is strongly preferred:

o Industrial valves and actuators;

o Industrial UPS, battery chargers and battery systems;

o Steam traps o Process instrumentation, analyzers or metering systems.

• Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, power generation or other industrial projects is an advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, datasheets, single-line diagrams, technical drawings and project specifications, depending on the assigned product group.

• Ability to review technical requirements, identify deviations and prepare technical compliance documents.

• Good command of written and spoken English, particularly for reviewing technical documents, writing emails and communicating with overseas manufacturers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD or other relevant engineering software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and technical problem-solving skills.

• Good communication, teamwork and coordination skills.

• Proactive, responsible and able to handle multiple RFQs or projects simultaneously.

• Able to work under pressure and meet quotation, tender and project deadlines.

• Willing to travel to customer sites, factories or project locations when required.

• Vietnamese nationality and currently residing in Ho Chi Minh City or willing to relocate.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• We are seeking engineers with a strong technical foundation who can work closely with the Sales team, customers, and international manufacturers. Suitable candidates should be capable of understanding customer requirements, selecting appropriate equipment, and preparing accurate technical proposals for industrial, oil and gas projects.
